Hard-Kill - Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)

The RP-24 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) is a surface-to-air missile launch system designed to combat low-flying aerial threats, including Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). It forms the primary hard-kill elimination component within our Counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems.

The system uses a modified 57mm S-5 missile equipped with an air-burst fragmentation warhead with a lethal radius of more than 20 metres per shot, and a capacity of 24 shots per launch tube module or more. The launch tubes feature our patented “Sandwich” technology with drawn grooves, which stabilise the projectile and significantly increase both effective range and accuracy, making the system well-suited for air-burst deactivation.

Although the munitions are essentially uncontrolled, the system uses radar and other sensor data to detect, track and predict incoming targets' movements. This process is driven by our proprietary software and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms.

Combined with the warhead's time-programming link, the system can intercept individual UAVs or entire drone warheads very accurately to protect critical infrastructure. With relatively low ammunition costs, the system offers a particularly cost-effective solution against low-cost but potentially lethal threats.
