
LAMIA
Heavy-Payload ISR VTOL
The LAMIA is an advanced long-endurance ISR VTOL UAV that combines vertical take-off and landing capability with the efficiency and range of a fixed-wing (fixed-wing) platform. The system is designed for strategic and tactical intelligence missions, where long-term observation, reliability and multi-sensor deployability are essential.
With a modular payload capacity of up to 35 kg, the LAMIA supports a wide range of mission sensors, including EO/IR gimbals, SAR modules, multispectral payloads and high-performance communication systems, as well as mission-specific equipment or cargo when required. This makes the platform suitable for true multisensor ISR within a single UAV.
Thanks to its hex-rotor VTOL configuration, the LAMIA can operate fully independently, whether in difficult terrain, urban environments or from maritime platforms. After vertical take-off, the system switches to aerodynamic fixed-wing flight, resulting in an endurance of up to 4 hours and an operational range of up to 500 km (hybrid variant).
Powered by proprietary HADES Autopilot Hardware & Software, the LAMIA offers full autonomous mission execution, advanced failsafe logic, secure data links and integration within NATO partners' modern C4ISR networks.
The LAMIA is ideal for ISR operations, border and coastal surveillance, military reconnaissance, critical infrastructure protection, SAR support and maritime surveillance.
