SURVEILLANCE Family
ISR VTOLs
The PENV-250, PENV-350 and LAMIA constitute a complete family of advanced VTOL UAV systems designed for permanent aerial observation, intelligence gathering and tactical to strategic ISR operations.
All systems have full vertical take-off and landing capability, enabling deployment in a variety of environments, from urban and mountainous terrain to maritime locations without runways.
The PENV-250 is the lightest and most portable platform in the series.
With its compact frame, the system is optimised for short-range reconnaissance, patrol and surveillance missions. The PENV-350 builds on this with increased payload capacity, longer flight duration and a watertight hull, allowing the aircraft to operate safely from both fresh and salt water. This makes the PENV-350 particularly suitable for coast guard, maritime and offshore applications, including landing on ships or slow-moving vessels.
The LAMIA forms the long-endurance flagship of the VTOL-UAV line.
Thanks to a hybrid hex-rotor VTOL configuration, the system switches to efficient fixed-wing flight after vertical take-off. This results in an endurance of up to 4 hours and an operational range of up to 500 km, making the platform ideal for long-term strategic ISR missions. With a modular payload capacity of up to 35 kg, the LAMIA supports a wide range of EO/IR gimbals, SAR sensors, multispectral payloads and high-bandwidth communication systems.
All three systems can be equipped with multisensor payloads and advanced communication suites for real-time situational awareness.
With autonomous flight capabilities, integrated failsafe logic and seamless compatibility with modern C4I/C4ISR networks, including the HADES Autopilot in the LAMIA, they deliver reliable performance within both civil and military domains.
Together, the PENV-250, PENV-350 and LAMIA provide a scalable and flexible UAV solution for border surveillance, coastal and maritime surveillance, military reconnaissance, critical infrastructure protection, SAR support and complex multisensor ISR operations.
