HEAVY-PAYLOAD ISR VTOL UAV
The Hades Lamia is a long-endurance VTOL ISR-UAV, designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in tactical, operational, and strategic environments. By combining vertical take-off and landing capability with the efficiency and range of a fixed-wing aircraft, LAMIA offers persistent aerial surveillance without the need for runways or launch infrastructure.
The platform enables rapid deployment from remote locations, forward operating bases, maritime platforms and environments with limited infrastructure, whilst maintaining long-duration mission endurance on location.
LAMIA VTOL UAV for long-range ISR
Designed for heavy ISR missions, the LAMIA VTOL UAV delivers long-range situational awareness, target detection, and intelligence gathering over large operational areas. The system supports a wide range of payload configurations, including electro-optical, thermal, radar, communications relay, and mission-specific systems, enabling adaptation to changing operational requirements. This distinguishes LAMIA within the UAV range as the ISR platform for the greatest distances and heaviest sensor loads.
Payload and mission flexibility
With a payload capacity of up to 35 kilograms, LAMIA supports multi-sensor operations and specialised mission equipment within a single platform. The modular payload architecture allows for rapid reconfiguration for intelligence gathering, surveillance, communications support, maritime operations, and other mission-specific applications.
Deployment & Operations
The autonomous VTOL configuration permits operations from confined locations without the need for dedicated launch or recovery infrastructure. Integrated within HDS FUSION, LAMIA can function as a standalone ISR asset or as part of a wider multi-sensor surveillance architecture, thereby contributing to a joint operational picture across air, land, and maritime domains.
