SEA EAGLE Radar
Long Range / X-Band PULSE AESA Radar
The HADES SEA EAGLE Radar is a long-range 4D Pulse X-Band AESA radar system developed for maritime surveillance, coastal surveillance, offshore protection and integrated air and surface surveillance within complex maritime environments.
Operating within the X-band frequency range, SEA EAGLE combines GaN-based AESA technology with advanced pulse radar processing to deliver reliable detection, rapid target updates and stable tracking performance against maritime and low-flying threats, including small vessels, drones, helicopters and other low-signature objects.
The radar has been specifically designed for operational use in challenging maritime conditions, including heavy seas, coastal clutter and complex offshore environments.
Technical specifications
SEA EAGLE supports the simultaneous detection and tracking of air and surface targets with:
- Detection range up to 90 km
- Detection of 0.1 m² RCS targets up to 25 km
- Detection of 0.01 m² RCS targets up to 10 km
Thanks to its compact AESA antenna, measuring approximately 1800 × 200 mm and weighing around 42 kg, the SEA EAGLE combines long-range performance with an exceptionally compact size, enabling integration even in locations with limited available space.
The system supports full 4D measurements comprising distance, azimuth, elevation and tracking.
Operational architecture
The radar can operate entirely autonomously with embedded local C2 capabilities, enabling standalone deployment as an independent operational sensor node within distributed maritime surveillance environments.
As part of the HADES C4ISR Platform, SEA EAGLE contributes to distributed sensor fusion, maritime situational awareness, and an integrated Common Operational Picture (COP) across air and surface sensor layers.
Thanks to its software-defined architecture, solid-state transmitter and GaN-based AESA technology, the SEA EAGLE delivers high reliability, low maintenance requirements and long-term operational availability.
