EAGLE+ Radar
Long Range / X-Band 4D AESA Multi-Mission Radar (MMR)
The HADES EAGLE+ Radar is an advanced 4D AESA Multi-Mission Radar (MMR) system developed for medium- to long-range aerial surveillance, integrated air defence, and Counter-UAS operations within complex operating environments.
Operating within the X-Band frequency range, EAGLE+ combines GaN-based AESA technology with advanced pulse radar processing to deliver high detection accuracy, fast target updates, and stable tracking performance against drones, aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles, and other low-signature threats.
The radar supports full 4D target detection and tracking, including range, azimuth, elevation, and vector information, combined with Micro-Doppler analysis for enhanced classification of small and difficult-to-detect targets.
Technical specifications
EAGLE+ supports simultaneous detection and tracking of over 1,000 targets with:
- Detection range up to 100 km
- Detection altitudes up to 30 km
- Detection of 0.1 m² RCS targets up to 35 km
- Detection of 0.01 m² RCS targets up to 20 km
The radar will be operational and deployable within approximately 20 minutes of arrival at the location and supports remote diagnostics, software capability upgrades, and flexible deployment configurations.
Operational architecture
With embedded local C2 capabilities, EAGLE+ can function as an autonomous operational sensor node within distributed surveillance environments.
As part of the HADES C4ISR Platform, EAGLE+ contributes to distributed sensor fusion, multi-domain situational awareness, and an integrated Common Operational Picture (COP).
Thanks to its software-defined architecture, electronic beam steering and solid-state GaN AESA technology, EAGLE+ delivers high reliability, low maintenance requirements, and long-term operational availability within urban, maritime, coastal, and battlefield environments.
Integration & interfaces
Via open and modular interfaces, the radar can seamlessly integrate within existing third-party operational environments, including air defence systems, command environments, Counter-UAS architectures, and national or NATO operational networks.
Thanks to support for standard integration protocols such as ASTERIX and SAPIENT, EAGLE+ can be easily integrated within existing operational ecosystems without vendor lock-in.
