EAGLE Radar
Mid-Range / 4D PULSE AESA Radar
The HADES EAGLE Radar is a compact and mobile 4D AESA radar system for mid-range air surveillance, Counter-UAS, and integrated air defence operations.
Developed around GaN-based AESA technology and advanced Pulse radar processing, EAGLE delivers fast target updates, high detection accuracy, and stable tracking performance against drones, helicopters, aircraft, ground vehicles, and other low-signature threats within complex operational environments.
Thanks to the combination of electronic beam steering, digital beamforming, and adaptive clutter suppression, the system maintains high detection performance in urban, maritime, coastal, and battlefield environments.
Technical specifications
The radar supports simultaneous detection and tracking of multiple targets with:
- Detection range up to 58 km
- Detection altitudes up to 15 km
- 360° rotating coverage or sector configurations of 30°, 60°, and 90°
Within Counter-UAS configurations, EAGLE supports:
- Detection of 0.01 m² RCS targets up to 12 km
- Detection of 0.1 m² RCS targets up to 25 km
- Detection of 1 m² RCS targets up to 32 km
Despite its compact size and a weight of approximately 38 kg, EAGLE delivers tactical 4D AESA radar performance that is normally associated with considerably larger radar systems.
Operational architecture
The system can operate fully autonomously with embedded local C2 capabilities, enabling standalone deployment as an independent operational sensor node.
As part of the HADES C4ISR Platform, EAGLE contributes to distributed sensor fusion, multi-domain situational awareness, and an integrated Common Operational Picture (COP).
Thanks to its software-defined architecture, solid-state transmitter and GaN-based AESA technology, EAGLE combines high reliability, low maintenance requirements and rapid operational deployment within both military and civil security environments.
Betting platforms
The modular architecture allows deployment on:
- Fixed installations
- Tactical vehicles
- Mobile command platforms
- Mast and tower configurations
- Telecommunications infrastructure
- Distributed surveillance deployments
Integration & interfaces
Via open and modular interfaces, the system can seamlessly integrate within existing third-party operational environments, including Counter-UAS architectures, air defence systems, command environments, and national or NATO operational networks.
The radars and specifications shown serve as examples from our standard portfolio. Each solution is fully custom configured by HADES based on your project and mission requirements.
